Re: 1992 Helix wiring schematic

The wire harness schematic is on page 21 of the service manual. The service manual pdf is here on this site, click on the home tab, then click on the manuals and brochures tab, scroll down to Honda service manuals, scroll down to Honda Helix, click on Helix and you have arrived.

Re: CH250dude contact info?

CH250 dude has always been on the up and up, never any issue with him or his products, However, he may no longer be in scooter parts business as it has been years since I last bought from him. Probably best to talk with him directly before attempting to send money.

Re: Honda NB50M

I looked at NB50M parts catalog and it appears to be similar to other scooters with no clutch cable and a variator system.
It does however have two brake cables and two throttle cables.
Are you sure about a clutch cable ?

Re: wont start wont crank wolf rx-50

A couple other random thoughts. On page 41 the owners manual states that if the fuse is blown the starter will not operate and on page twelve it states the run/ stop rocker switch on the right handlebar must be in the run position for it to start. Post the results of what you find out, hope you get ...

Re: wont start wont crank wolf rx-50

If that diagram is for your year and model of Wolf, then as you can see the Green wire with yellow tracer has to have battery positive voltage when either brake is applied ( front or rear) And the red with with yellow tracer goes to the starter button, and I would expect the starter button to ground...

Re: wont start wont crank wolf rx-50

Using a wire diagram you should be able to trace out the issue. I am not familiar with a Wolf, but would assume that either brake switch must be functioning to close the starter relay. You should also be able to jumper the relay to confirm the relay and starter are okay.

Re: Vespa Battery Tender Connection Point

How could anyone answer without seeing the wires you are speaking of ? How about attaching some photos with the seat and panels removed ? Once the wires are exposed, you can trace them out and take photos.

Re: Honda Elite 110 Starter

Luckily for you, most every large town, has a Honda dealer, with factory trained technicians that know how to repair this. But I suspect most people like to play guess it yourself, so lets guess. Did you check the starter clutch ? Also called a starter drive and sometimes called a bendix. If you hea...

Re: AERO 125- LETS TALK SPEED.

I weigh 180, both my Aero 125's would do 57 mph measured by GPS. I installed the 84 Aero 50 CDI ( there is a thread here about that) and I installed a center bleed expansion chamber, and a mikuni carb properly jetted, the increase was a very disappointing 63 mph. Bought an Elite 150 that did 64 in s...

Re: Taking a trip from the coast to the mountains

Sounds like a fun trip, I take long trips on my big bike a lot, even to Maggie Valley North Carolina, the smokies and the Dragon, but never tried it on a little bike. The big bore kit sounds like the weakest link, hope the cylinder to piston clearance is correct and the fuel mixture isn't too lean. ...

Re: New Cushman's

Maybe not quite all American. Subaru engines are Japanese. I would guess the CVT is Chinese made Comet clone. At least the frame is made in Cali. Glad someone is trying to revive the oldies. Many classic Cushman owners put oversize wheels/tires, then upgrade to forks, then upgrade to Briggs and Stra...
