Re: Fly 150cc

My research indicates there was just grey, white and blue for that year. See the bottom of the Fly page:

Could be mistaken though - looking up this historical info is hard.

Re: New addition

It's a beauty. I guess it zips pretty good too being a 2-stroke. Gotta get some faster tires for the Ruck.

Re: You guys hear this?

Wow interesting. I'd love to see Honda/Yamaha come out with a good electric scooter. None of this expensive, slow charging, slow, limited range stuff. I've been following electric cars a lot, and there's no reason why they can't come out with a 50cc style electric scooter that goes 150km on a charge...

Re: Mad Bastard 2017 LONDON!

Wow I don't know how I never heard about ScooterTuning.ca before.

In the checkout it looks like the products are coming from the USA because there are shipping options like USPS. Does anyone know if that's true and if Canadians get hit with duty/tax on orders from ST?

Re: Scootahoop Security Device

It looks like a good product. The main challenges seem to the price and users having to secure it. If someone rents then their landlord may be hesitant about granting permission, same goes for someone wanting to park at work.

Re: Building My Own Scooter

Used scooters - especially non-running ones - can be really cheap. I'd start with a cheap used machine that provides a frame, wiring and a VIN number and then you can modify it as much as you want. This approach lets you focus on the mods you really want (e.g. engine) without all the mundane stuff.

I'd buy the PCX. I like the looks better than the SMAX and it's cheaper. Both are nice machines though.

They did a nice job. It's cleaned up and not super stretched, which is nice.
