How I block fools who post spam on this board? If no one's going to clean up the spam you should at least let the real users block those accounts.

Sorry I've been busy lately and not too on the ball with the spam. Do you have any interest in deleting it? I'm happy to make you a mod if you want to do that.

Sure. I can't promise I'll catch it all, but I'll certainly try, with glee. LOL!

Okay you should have mod permissions. Within each thread you can delete posts, or move topics that are in the wrong section, and then there is also the "moderator control panel" screen (link near top of page) where you can do moderator stuff. I use that to delete users if they make a bunch of spam posts. You can delete the user and all posts, rather than each one individually.

I tried to delete all the spam that has accumulated over the past few weeks, so hopefully there's a clean start now.

Ok, I'll go through it this weekend and familiarize myself with the controls. I did this for 15 years with my own forum so it should be a smooth learning curve.

I also heard there is a mod fridge stocked with VB... 🤣🤣

Yes it's a very rewarding job. Once you block 100 spam posts you start getting pro deals from the OEMs including below cost scooters and parts

Is there a way for me to also delete the spammer's account if the spamming is obvious?

Have you considered removing your "1982" challenge and replacing it with a captcha challenge to weed out most of the spam? Yes, it adds a step to register and login, but if you use cookies to autologin and set them to expire every 90 days, it would weed out all the dweebs who think this site is their personal toilet.
