Post by roadcapDen » Wed Jul 15, 2009 1:46 pm

Shoulda commented about my Italian built Harley here instead of general discussion, was cruisin on the wekend and 2 different guys in cars pulled up beside me to look at/talk about my Aermacchi!
Ol' Smokey is still running great...

DD,
That's a beeaauuty Topper.
You CAN be in Luck!!
The guy I got mine from has some other 2 and 4 stroke AMF's AND a Topper!
I've seen most of them, He's down to about 50 bikes from over 80 a few years ago! they are all in Burlington, i've known this guy for over 8 years He was in HOG back then when I was. He's also got old Norton's Triumph's etc.

Den, just got in a nice Harley Aermacchi long sleeve shirt from MD.

He wants $3,500 for the Topper, looks complete, said it would sell for up to $10K restored!

Picked up a 1975 SXT125 AMF H-D 2 stroke 5 speed, needs a few parts and I'm gonna rattle can it black, repro decals can be bought online, original tires only 1,910 miles.

My ET4 should be delivered this afternoon

presently enjoy riding a Ruckus and a Super 9. Tinkering with a Riva 180 and a couple of old Puch SV's. In the off season I enjoy a 1999 Polaris Indy 600 XLT Touring and a 2014 Artic Cat Prowler side by side
