The model is Honda CH250 Elite.

Here is the book online to see where too look.

On mine the VIN is right on tank under seat.

Thanks

Edit Forgot to ask, How many Klicks are on it?

It's tough to say, but it kinda looks like an '89-90 model. The big change for '89 was the switch to a horizontal motor (piston points forward) instead of a vertical one (piston points up). In one of the photos the engine looks pretty flat like a horizontal one but it's too hard to say for sure.

I put on the Hardy Boy hat and did some detective work.

I researched the OEM striping for Honda CH250 85-90. The rear striping above the brake light on 85-88 reads ELITE250.

89-90 reads ELITE.

I would still like to verify the VIN or engine code based on previous chart and Klicks on it.

But if you are able to bring it to St. Catharines after the rally, and it is an 85-88 I would like to grab it at price you mentioned.

Check out the exploded parts diagrams on bikebandit.com in the OEM parts section. I think the 250 does fit, but I"m not sure. You can check to see if the mounts look similar.

What's happening with this deal. A vespa project would be fun.

well he wants 350 for the 250 elite, and 400$ for the vespa stuff. which is too much for stripped bikes and odd parts. i was willing to go 200$ for vespa shit.
presently enjoy riding a Ruckus and a Super 9. Tinkering with a Riva 180 and a couple of old Puch SV's. In the off season I enjoy a 1999 Polaris Indy 600 XLT Touring and a 2014 Artic Cat Prowler side by side

Get enough involved and you could all pitch in and resell then split profits.

well the bikes are pretty much bonned out but one i think and most of the parts are trim for other models of vespas?
this is the left overs from a guy named Helmet that had a scooter dealer in burlington. i have been told that if he did not make a buck off this no one would. And i do not have room for this much shit! so hmmm....

So we would need to part out the extras fast to make room and try to recoup costs.

alot of the stuff is old, but if your a ebay type someone may buy some of the stuff?
but he will have to lower his price yet!
i will have to get a better inventory of parts and let you see.
