Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not it was possible to do a easy and simple engine swap from my 2006 Yamaha Vino 50cc (XC50) to a Yamaha Vino 125 (YJ125) engine. They are both 4-stroke motors. Im looking to make my Vino go faster so that I can drive it on main roads in my city to go back and forth from work. Speed limit is anywhere from 45 MPH - 55 MPH. My stock Vino only goes about 35-38 mph depending on how much Ive eaten. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest mate it just might be cheaper and easier to go and buy the bigger engined scooter. It might be doable but the wiring harnesses may be different as well the frames and the front suspension on the 50cc is completely different and probably can't handle the extra power of 125cc engine.
