New AE 50 Owner in the UK

Post by cancunia »

I'm in the UK, the AE50 is quite rare here too but some parts are available via ebay and as mentioned on the main site here it seems to share a lot of mechanical parts with the AD 50. I got the scoot home on Thursday without a set of keys. On the advice of a local Suzuki dealer I went to a locksmith with steering lock in hand on Friday and got a key cut. After adding a battery (borrowed from my Honda Vision) & change of fuel it fired up. Compared to the Honda it's really quick on the take-off even without looking at the belt & rollers. It'll be next year before I take it out on the road, as the weather is too cold now for spending cash getting it road legal. I'll post up some pictures when it's been washed!

Anyone with a manual or handbook they can scan or send?

Thanks
