Yamaha riv a 125-What to look for when battery drains

I bought my third scooter. This time it's a Yamaha Riva 125. But it need a little work. The battery drains. It's a new battery. Leave it over night and you can tell it's weaker.

Well, found it wasn't charging- not draining. The person who I bought from said it was the stator. Found out the rectifier module was bad. Now when running with the volt meter it's charging.

How many volts were you getting before replacing the recifier? Sound a lot like the issue I’m having with my ‘94 riva.
