Sorry to hear your having a time with your “friends”. One phrase you’ll hear in MSF over and over, or should “RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE” this goes for skill set, bike choice, etc. Is it their money, is it their safety , hell is it even their insurance if , god forbid, something bad happens. How about their guilt… will they even stop to think long enough that their very amount of peer pressure could have put you in such a situation? If it were me personally- if they are more concerned about the size of the bike then your comfort and safety, I would point them towards the door and look to new friends.
Don’t give up your hopes of riding just because the IQ of the people around you extend about as far as your middle finger would when you salute them for their opinions. Its YOUR money, YOUR comfort and YOUR safety. Enough said. No need in arguing with them …its pointless and your decision…as some would say……
“Do not argue with idiots, they will just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience”
Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a prediction, but today…… is a Bi**h
