2008 KYMCO SENTO 50
Milage: 5000 - 10,000 Miles
Likes: Excellent handling
Dislikes: Too much junk on engine

Review: The Kymco Sento has outstanding brakes (front disc), way better than Honda, Sym, etc, so it's good for hot-rodding. Lot's of aftermarket parts, but dealer doesn't support racing mods, you have to go to after-market dealers. A 100cc Sento can do 50mph and is really an awesome scooter!”

2009 KYMCO SENTO 50
Milage: 1000 - 5000 Miles
Likes: Nice quality, with excellent brakes and suspension
Dislikes: Very slow - too slow! Not much under-seat storage

Review: This is a nice riding a comfortable scooter, but it's too slow to be a useful machine. The review says it's not restricted, but it's actually VERY restricted in several ways. The CDI has TWO rev limiters which are not easy to defeat, and the variator is also restricted. In most urban areas, Sento riders are in serious danger of being run down from behind because the slow top speed (about 45kmh or 25mph) is so annoying to other drivers. Kymco is not helpful in finding solutions to the speed limiters, and the dealers are limited by warranty restrictions.”

2009 KYMCO SENTO 50
Milage: 5000 - 10,000 Miles
Likes: Nice handling, good brakes
Dislikes: Weird location of fuel filler

Review: Although the Sento 50 is a real turtle from the dealer, there's tons of cheap speed parts available so it was easy to install an 85cc Big Bore kit, racing came, big exhaust, unrestricted CDI, etc. It cruises easily at 70kph without stressing itself, and can manage 80kph in short bursts. There's not much documentation available on the speed parts, so I had to try 4 different ones to find one that I like.”
