Yeah....tragic. The video footage was harsh....I'm surprised they showed it.

Yeah it's been crazy here......lots of big bands coming through....Our Lady Peace, Default, Usher etc. They have all been to where I work (GLC). It's been fun watching the events at work with hundreds of other people cheering to. I watched some downhill races on the hill but it's hard to watch because they just whiz by and you have no idea if they are doing good or bad.

It's supposed to snow here in Whistler soon, but I think it will still be too warm in Vancouver. They might get some on Cyprus though.

Yeah the loss to the USA team was painful. I was disappointed with Brodeur and with Perry's lazy effort to not avoid the empty net goal. The rest of the team was trying so hard to tie up the game in the final minute and Perry should have been trying way harder.

yeah i was watching the end and thought that too, that he was not trying too hard to stop the guy from slapping it in and kills the extra man goalie pull in last minute! may be playing for bronze? if that keeps up.

our dump of snow is melting real fast, weird weather but the first time we needed the snow blower this year!

No we didn't move here for the games. We moved here primarily to be in the mountains and so I could do some more school out here. We didn't even know what town we were going to when we were driving west. Initially we were thinking Kelowna or Revelstoke.

Ha Ha...yeah I bet it is tough to find a handicap spot. Parking in general is still a headache with a good portion of the lots closed. The open ones fill up really fast and then you're left driving around frustrated. At least I have my Ruckus and I know a few spots I can always put that. At work, I just part it beside the building and no one bothers it.

Ok now the head lines are you are back to normal now the special Olympics etc is over and Vancouver gets a passing grade! for all the events. Do you think from being their it was a money maker? in the long run ? after what was spent? Hmm.... you lived it.
