Re: Honda aero transmission bearings
Then look for parts for the Peugeot SV and SR series of scooters from the 1990's. The engine packs (including the drive) are licensed from Honda and are compatible.

Other than fleaBay, the most reliable place I know for Honda scooter parts is https://www.cmsnl.com/.

Your sentence does not make sense. Try to explain that again.

Re: 1986 Honda Aero
If you do what I tell you, download the service manual from this web site, instead of winging it with no knowledge, like you are doing now, you'll find out exactly how it works, how to test it and how to properly bleed the oil lines. It's not rocket science, maybe 10 pages in the lubrication section...

Re: 1986 Honda Aero
You need to download the service and/or owner's manual for your bike. There is no "crankcase oil" in this scooter, that's only for four-stroke engines. Yours is two-stroke. There is pre-mix oil that is put into the reservoir next to the gas cap. That is mixed with the gasoline for lubrication.

Re: Engine Rebuild Kit
Remove the piston, carefully measure dimensions for the piston, rings and wrist pin and go find yourself a Chinese-made piston kit with rings and pin. It's likely just a garden-variety 54mm piston for a slightly larger cylinder, maybe 57mm. eBay has oodles of them.

Re: Engine Rebuild Kit
There are no "rebuild kits" for something like this. You may likely have to find a piston and rings, or more.

Re: Engine Rebuild Kit
"Rebuild kit" is too vague. Do you mean something like this top end kit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Athena-Top-End ... 3756214208

Re: 1984 Honda Aero 125
I don't have time to go searching for random posts or for part numbers on motorcycles about which I have no interest. You need to take it to a mechanic who knows what he/she is doing. He will then tell you what size piston you need.

Re: 1984 Honda Aero 125
Can you explain why exactly did you buy a piston for an engine with twice the displacement without any idea if it will fit (which it likely will be too big)?

Re: 1986 Honda Aero
Stuff happens. These scooters are not meant to be run on fuel with ethanol. That causes carbon buildup that can lead to this. It is dirt simple to remove ethanol from your fuel, just add water, shake and wait for it to separate, then siphon off the ethanol at the bottom. Look it up on Google, there ...
