Re: Yamaha Mint

can you find the engine code on the crankcase? That would help a lot. A few pictures too. This page has what looks like a Razz/Mint as the same but they might have split at a later date. http://www.50cc.eu/en/parts_3.asp?Hg=All&Km=&M=yamaha&T=mint%20/razz%20(sh50)&TA=YamMin&I=280&Ag=53 Because it lo...

Re: Shop wants me to pay $2000 for a new engine after they bent my crank!!

Sounds like they were just throwing parts at the problem without trying to diagnose the problem hoping something would fix it. But point is that They bent the crank so it up to them to cover the cost of fixing their fault not you. It went in with an electrical issue and now has a major mechanical is...

Re: Help! Need some suggestions

Looks like the old tyre is rotted right to the rim. ive seen it at work with a Bricklin SV 1 that need new tyres(OEMs from '74) and the we had to cut the old ones off the rim then carefully grind the excess off the lip. That may be your only choice. Good luck Mate.

Re: Spiked Winter Tires for 1997 Honda Dio (SK50 MV)

Sorry Dude the only things I can find are too big for your size. the smallest I can find(from Europe) are 3.5x10 that accept studs.
Found these in your size though https://fortnine.ca/en/kenda-k701-winter-scooter-tire but you wont be able to add studs.
Good Luck Mate.

Re: Elite 80 Shock Options?

Measure the distance between the center of the bolt/mounting holes and find an aftermarket shock that is approximately the same length. Like these http://scootertuning.ca/en/145-suspensions although the ones on the web page are for a BW's.
Good Luck hunting Mate

Re: SK50M rear shock replacement

Measure the shock from the middle of the mounting holes to get the distance between them. It should be anywhere in the 225-275mm range. After you have your measurement just head online and find a shock that is in the right size range and Bobs your Uncle. Like these: http://scootertuning.ca/en/15147-...

That's a good question, I don't think you would need to. Just keep a close eye on the engine after you install the new exhaust.

Re: SK50M not running, occasional spark

your generator/stator might not be charging the battery. if you have a voltmeter get her started again and check if its charging the battery. Should read 13V at idle and over 14+ when applying throttle.
