Re: petcock rebuild kit ?

looking at three diagrams of the Zuma/BWs petcock and Im not sure you have the right one on there anyways. Every one I look at has only Two line attachments a Fuel Line and a Vacuum Line http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oemparts/a/yam/5003aeddf8700212fc83c0de/fuel-tank http://www.ebay.ca/itm/H-YAMAHA-...

Re: petcock rebuild kit ?

petcocks on scooter I dont think were meant to rebuilt. Replacement might be you best and only option. http://49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/371/installing-manual-fuel-petcock if you feel like trying your hand at coustomizing https://www.ebay.com/sch/Motorcycle-Fuel-Petcocks-Taps-for-Yamaha-Zuma-50/...

Re: 125 zuma drive belt issue

You buying OEM belts or cheap ones? From my experience with our two Vinos is that Yamahas hate cheap belts with a passion. They literally chew them up and spit them out.
If you can get a new OEM Yamaha belt(I know they are expensive)that should solve your problem

Re: 2015 Giorno

try a larger rear tyre and stiffer cluch springs and contra spring for a small gain. But by and large the noly real way to gain more speed with a 4stroke 50 is with engine mods or just a larger engine overall

I would stay away from the cheap stuff. Pay a little bit more for the quality scooters.

Re: My 2002 Derbi GP1 Scooter Project

That piston looks like utter crap. Wow
That thing should easily hit 60MPH in 70cc form. 55MPH in 50cc form should be a given. My wife's '03 Vino will hit 88kph and it's still a 50cc 2stroke.
Good luck on the rebuild.

2001 Vino

Selling my 2001 Vino plenty of pictures on this web page. Needs engine work as it lost compression I have a new piston, rings and gasket kit. No extra time/money to get her up and running again.
