Re: Rear Wheel No Longer Vertical

I thought maybe the bolt came out but they are right, a welder should be able to fix that Not going to be cheap. If you look closely there are stress cracks all over that area. If the welder knows his work he will insist on doing a magnaflux test with liquid penetrant to uncover all the damage, and...

Over time, that is exactly what happens when you abuse a machine beyond its design limits. Here, read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatigue_(material)

Re: Rear Wheel No Longer Vertical

Predictable. This happened because you exceeded the scooter's maximum weight capacity of 335 lbs. You need to read the safety labels on your scooter. :)

Re: Rear Wheel No Longer Vertical

How much do you and your cousin weigh? :o

You may be able to get that repaired by a competent welder.

The orifice the bystarter pin goes into might be plugged.

Re: Honda CH125 (Elite) 1994 won't cold start

From Wikipedia (which is not always accurate, or even close to it, but this is...): "A choke valve is sometimes installed in the carburetor of internal combustion engines. Its purpose is to restrict the flow of air, thereby enriching the fuel-air mixture while starting the engine. Depending on engin...

Re: Honda CH125 (Elite) 1994 won't cold start

When this happened to me on my Aero 125 it was the bystarter. Changing it solved the problem. It's the only thing in the engine starting formula that is affected by heat. The other problem I had was a leak in the carb bowl, the screw that controls the overflow drain always let the fuel out.

Re: Aero 80 again

So try something else. Check the carb float chamber. See how much fuel is in there. Make sure the vent screw or tube is not clogged. Make sure the float is not gummed up.

Re: Aero 80 again

Used a longer bolt now the carb is tight. it's really no better. found out now my exhaust gasket is blown out, i'll have to fix it first , i have had a 2 strokes run goofy before with a hole in the exhaust. All the Honda 2-strokes have exhausts specifically designed for the engine. If there is a ho...

All kinds of things can happen, from metal fatigue failure to "You pissed off Murphy." You won't know what happened until you tear it down.

Re: Aero 80 again

That's the right thing to do with the air screw. I can't think of anything else from way over here. Sorry.
