Re: Honda NSC110/Dio110/Vision110 Variator nut torque?

If the 50 and 125cc use 59nm you can safely assume that 110 recommends the same torque.

Re: 1985 Honda Aero 80 Brake cable question

Don't feel bad, I bought a basket case 2008 Land Rover LR2 and 8 months later it is running almost like a new car, got the engine sounding like a sewing machine, but it's got a few leaks still have to be fixed and the parking brake cables are seized too, from spending too much time at the beach.

Re: 1985 Honda Aero 80 Brake cable question

Honda NH80 is exactly the same bike as the Aero 80 from a mechanical point of view. 99% of the parts are interchangeable (except for possibly the instrument panel and decals, and I think the NH80 may have a kickstarter). It is also known as the Honda Lead 80.

Same between Aero 125 and NH125/Lead 125.

Re: "time sert" success

Yes, it is a myth. Ferrari does not "certify" any fuel. The only recommend you use fuels without ethanol. ANY fuel without ethanol. I dare you to find any evidence from the Ferrari corporate web site which states they certify any fuel. Provide a link that supports your assertion. Don't worry, I won'...

Re: 1985 Honda Aero 80 Brake cable question

If the cable is frozen inside the housing, have you tried forcing spray lubricant into the housing, waiting until it drips out the other said and then letting it sit for a day or two? There are full rear cable assemblies on eBay but they are not cheap.

This is a myth. Italy is in the top 10 countries using ethanol in fuel. There is no certification of fuel for Ferraris.

Re: "time sert" success

Shell V-Power premium is ethanol free. it is certified by ferrari for their cars so i think we can use it This needs to be qualified. This fuel is ethanol-free only in some countries, and in the countries where it is available that way, most other gasolines are also available without ethanol, prima...

Re: "time sert" success

Whether it will work is up to you. 30 miles on ethanol fuel will not cause damage. If you run it too long that way you'll get a mass of carbon on top of the piston and the motor may turn but it won't start.

Re: 84 Honda aero 125

Most likely explanation is too much oil getting into the cylinder, or it's also possible one or more of the piston rings have given up the ghost. Mixture could also be too rich but that doesn't explain the black whatever coming out the exhaust.

Re: 84 Honda aero 125

Are you using the two-stroke oil tank and automixer, or are you premixing the oil with the fuel yourself?

Re: "time sert" success

It is dirt simple to separate and remove ethanol from gas. You just need to add water, shake and wait, and then syphon the water/ethanol mixture. What's left is pure gas. Google it, there must be a gazillion posts on this all over the web.

Re: 1989 Honda elite inlet pipe

If you go to that European company (the most reliable source of parts for these scooters, IMO) at least you can get the exact part number, 17253GE1671, with which you can then search on Google for other options. Also, shipping from Europe to the US is cheaper than the other way around. In the meanwh...
