hi, im steven from hebburn, south tyneside. i have just joined the forum. and looking for help on a scooter i have just bought as a cheap project. . its a good condition , low miles, t reg, kymco fever 50. and has been stored in a garage for 10 years i got it turning over, but looks like a weak spark.( used a jump start pack ) it wont start. the battery is u/s of course.will have to buy a new 1. unstuck the throttle needle in the carb, so it now moves. drained the petrol tank, & willl fit a new spark plug. is this little scooter worth spending a bit of money on thanks for any help/info. steven

hi, update....scooter now starts ok. . it will idle until i try to rev it. then it bogs down & engine stops. have removed air filter & it fell to bits flushed & refilled fuel tank. im now thinking maybe some of the carb jets might still have a blockage( poss main). as previous said, been sitting 10 years. all electrics now working. any advice guys steve.

hi, no replies or info ? sorted without any help . replacement carb fitted from a daelim 50. revs fine now. everything else working fine. steve.
