Newbie with a Yamaha JYA3

Post by Skeezix »

Hi
I have had this for years - I bought from a race team & used a bit and just sorta hung on to it. Now I want to run it and really want to know what the heck it is. I did a bit of searching here and the web but I am still lost.
The plastic has a sticker
JYA3SAN0XSA008377
12/94
The frame has JYA3SAN08SA008362
The engine # seems to be 3SA-008362
So I am a little lost and thought this may be the right stop on the information superhighway ...

That my friend be a Yamaha Jog. you said it be a '94 model? Then it would be a CY50 very good engine and fast to boot. Plenty of parts still available as the engine was and still is very popular it can be found in the Vino('01-06) and the BW's('03-11)
