stacting 2013 kymco like 200i

2013 kymco like 200i, how to start. Does it have to be on center stand to start? New battery, juice, turns over but won't catch. Have side stand up and brake depressed. Suggestions?

No it does not need to be on the stand to start as I sometimes start my Movie with it off the stand. It cranks but does not turn over check your compression and if you are getting a spark and fuel going to the cylinder.

Check that kill switch isn't turned to off.

FYI the Kymco Like 200 does not exist anymore. Kymco dropped it this year because their Like 150i out runs it and they dumped it because it wasn't good enough to go one.
